About the Blog
This is pretty much your average personal blog. Every day I will post at least one thing. Many days it will be a link to a video, photo, blog, site or article that I find interesting, funny or worth viewing in some way. As often as possible I'll be adding in posts of my own creation. Every Monday I will post a rant. I do love a good rant. When I put up new photos, go to a concert, have something to say, go on a trip, etc., I'll do a post about it. I'll be putting up recommendations of movies, TV shows and music and occasionally, if I enjoy hating something enough, I'll write about that too. I'll occasionally put up reviews, top ten lists and shout-outs to friend's pages, projects and creations.

This website is basically a showcase for me, my life, my opinions and my work. As such, I welcome all my many visitors who care about me, my life, my opinions and my work. Hi mom.
About Me
Alex was born in San Francisco, CA and grew up in Marin County. Since then he has attended The University of East Anglia in England and The University of California at Santa Barbara where he received a degree in film studies and a degree in art history.
Alex began writing about himself in the third person to seem more important. He figured that if it looks like someone else is writing about him, then he must be worth writing about!
Alex works primarily in film and television production often as an editor or cinematographer. This is all well and good but what Alex would really like to be doing is writing and directing major motion pictures. Minor ones would be okay too.
Alex hesitates to call his photography a hobby. He occasionally takes photography work which would make him a "professional" although he definitely does not consider himself a professional photographer. Instead he has chosen to try and keep it a personal expression unburdened by associating it with paying rent or any other obligations.
